CONCACAF reveals play-in matchups for Copa America Centenario

Panama will play Cuba on Jan. 8, 2016, for one of the remaining Copa America Centenario open spots.

CONCACAF on Thursday said the two final berths for the 2016 Copa America Centenario will be played in Panama in January.

Last week, CONCACAF, CONMEBOL and U.S. Soccer finalized plans to move forward with the summer event, with the final set for the Rose Bowl, in Pasadena, California, and one of the semifinals at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Americans use second-half surge to beat Panama and win qualifying group

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. -- Sluggish in the first half, the Americans needed some kind of catalyst.

United States beat Canada in CONCACAF Olympic qualifying

Jordan Morris (9) got the U.S. off to an excellent start in the CONCACAF Olympic qualifying tournament.

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Jordan Morris proved again Thursday night why so many pro teams are eager to sign him.

The 20-year-old Stanford star scored a pair of goals, the second off a steal and feed from Wil Trapp, to give the United States a 3-1 victory over Canada in the opener of CONCACAF Olympic qualifying.

Morris also scored in the first minute off Jerome Kiesewetter's cross, and Luis Gil tacked on a penalty kick for the U.S. in extra-time to put the game away.
