JDT to face Selangor, Kedah given easy draw in Malaysia Cup

Defending champions Kedah gained a favourable draw for the 2017 Malaysia Cup beginning in July, with Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) drawn with 2015 winners, Selangor.

Kedah, who clinched the Malaysia FA Cup last Saturday, were grouped together with Kelantan, Melaka United and UiTM FC in Group B.

JDT keep their AFC Cup chances alive, while Khairul Amri's brace inspired Tampines Rovers.

2015 champions Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) will go full throttle against Magwe FC in the AFC Cup on Wednesday night, with the Myanmar side standing between them and a knockout berth from Group F.

Nothing but three points at Larkin Stadium will suffice for the Southern Tigers, who are second in the group behind Global FC of the Philippines.

Home United have enjoyed good recent form in both the AFC Cup and S.League.

S.League giants Home United will have no lack of motivation to claim maximum points when they entertain Myanmar's Yadanarbon in Tuesday's AFC Cup Group H clash at Jalan Besar Stadium.
