S.League outfit Home United were unable to get their 2017 AFC Cup Group H campaign off to a positive start as they were beaten on the road by Myanmar's Yadanarbon 1-0 on Wednesday.

In a feisty clash at the Mandalar Thiri Stadium that threatened to boil over on several occasions, Aung Thu popped up with the only goal of the game right on the stroke of half-time to hand the hosts maximum points.
