Italy coach Antonio Conte has demanded that his players be fully focused ahead of a very important four-day stretch for the Azzurri in view of Euro 2016.

Conte's men take on Malta on Thursday in Florence needing three points to maintain the pressure on Group H leaders Croatia.

The Italians are two points adrift of Croatia after six games and host Bulgaria three days later.

Six points is a must for the 2012 Euro runners-up.

Martin Odegaard shines as Norway and Sweden draw

Martin Odegaard created many chances but could not spark Norway to a win over neighbours Sweden.

Real Madrid's Martin Odegaard impressed but could not help Norway find a breakthrough in a goalless draw with Sweden on Monday.

The 16-year-old created multiple scoring chances and looked much more lively than Sweden star Zalatan Ibrahimovic, who missed an opportunity to score in the first half.

Norway striker Alexander Soderlund could have had a hat trick as the hosts had the better of the ball after half-time, though Sweden also came close in the closing minutes.

The last chance fell to Norway...

Azerbaijan handle their business and earn their first points in Group H of Euro 2016 qualifying.

Azerbaijan prevailed in the battle of the Group H minnows as they beat Malta 2-0.

Gabala striker Javid Huseynov scored the opening goal of the game four minutes in and it looked enough to decide a tie which features two sides who had one point between them prior to kick-off.

But Dimitrij Nazarov added an injury-time second for good measure to wrap things up.

Huseynov nodded in from close range after a Namik Alaskarov cross and that gave Azerbaijan plenty of confidence for the rest of the clash.
