Stanislav Dragun finally beat Luxembourg goalkeeper Jonathan Joubert to earn Belarus a draw in this Group C Euro 2016 Qualifier.

Luxembourg and Belarus could not be separated in their Euro 2016 Group C qualifier as they drew 1-1 on Monday night.

Lars Krogh Gerson opened the scoring for Luxembourg in the 42nd minute and the home side looked set to claim the perfect start to their campaign until Belarus hit back in the second half.

Stanislav Dragun found the bottom left corner from close range to level the match at 1-1 in the 78th minute.

Both sides sent shots wide in the opening half an hour but it was Gerson who broke the...

European minnows Luxembourg denied Italy their first win in seven games with a late equaliser in Wednesday's international friendly in Perugia.

Claudio Marchisio's ninth-minute goal had put the hosts in front and Italy should have extended their lead but were twice denied by the woodwork in the second half.

Maxine Chanot pulled Luxembourg level with five minutes remaining when he nodded past a helpless Gianluigi Buffon in the Italy goal.

Belgium win wiped from records

FC's Gab Marcotti points out potential weaknesses in the Belgium World Cup roster.

ZURICH -- FIFA has wiped Belgium's 5-1 win against Luxembourg from the record books because coach Marc Wilmots used too many substitutes in last week's World Cup warm-up match.

- Casteels cut from Belgium squad

FIFA rules allow a maximum of six substitutes in friendlies, and Wilmots used seven.

Forward Romelu Lukaku's hat trick and Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj's international debut in the May 26 match in Genk no longer count. Backup goalkeeper Sammy Bossut's debut also is erased.
