Former FIFA World Footballer George Weah came out of retirement this week to play for Liberia, in a friendly against Nigeria.

George Weah, President of Liberia and former World Footballer of the Year made a surprise return to international football in Monrovia on Tuesday, playing for 79 minutes in a 2-1 friendly loss to Nigeria a few weeks short of his 52nd birthday.

Gernot Rohr has invited five home-based professionals ahead of the Super Eagles' international friendly against Liberia at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex in Monrovia on Tuesday.
