Hosts Australia and the United Arab Emirates will meet in their maiden competitive match on Tuesday night in Newcastle to determine who will play South Korea in the Asian Cup final.

Tuesday's semifinal will feature two of the most exciting teams in this year's tournament. Both teams have come a long way since their uninspiring goalless friendly match in October last year.
