Hungary manager Attila Pinter has called for patience after his Euro 2016 preparations were hit by a bust-up with striker Adam Szalai.

Gyula Grosics dies aged 88

BUDAPEST -- Gyula Grosics, the goalkeeper of Hungary's "Golden Team" of the 1950s, has died aged 88.

Grosics' death on Friday was announced by his family and the Hungarian Football Federation.

He had suffered three heart attacks and from other illnesses in recent years, and was hospitalised this week after a routine checkup.

Grosics played 86 times for Hungary from 1947 to 1962.
