Adam Federici not to blame for Greece wonder goal - Ange Postecoglou

Greece has scored an unbelievable goal from 60 metres out in their international friendly against the Socceroos. Up 1-nil already, Socceroos keeper Adam Federici was caught off guard by the strike which came from halfway.

Socceroos coach Ange Postecoglou has absolved his goalkeeper Adam Federici of any blame for the wonder goal from Greece's Giannis Maniatis which condemned Australia to a shock 2-1 loss in Tuesday night's friendly international at Etihad Stadium.

With Federici stationed well away from his goal, Maniatis chipped him from beyond the halfway line in the 21st minute to give Greece a two-goal lead.

Spain saw their 11-game unbeaten streak end in a 1-0 loss to Georgia in a friendly in Getafe on Tuesday night.

Olivier Giroud stays hot as France beat Scotland; Germany defeat Hungary

Olivier Giroud scored twice and his Arsenal teammate Laurent Koscielny also found the net as France controlled Scotland 3-0 in their final warm-up for the European Championship.
