Portugal coach Fernando Santos has won an appeal to cut his ban for misconduct at the World Cup while coaching Greece.

LAUSANNE, Switzerland -- Portugal coach Fernando Santos has won an appeal to cut his ban for misconduct at the World Cup while coaching Greece.

Kyriakos Papadopoulos will return for struggling Greece in their upcoming Euro qualifier.

Injury-plagued defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos has been recalled to Greece's overhauled national team for Sunday's European Championship qualifier in Hungary.

The suspension of the Greek top-flight will last only one week.

The Greek government has scaled back its suspension of professional football in the country, which will now only include the top-flight Super League and will last for one week.
