Former France and Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier will share his insights at next month's AFC National Coaches Conference.

Former Liverpool and France national team boss Gerard Houllier will be the special guest when the first Asian Football Confederation (AFC) National Coaches Conference is held in Malaysia next month.

The three-day conference will attract all of Asia's national coaches and technical directors, including Australia's Ange Postecoglou, Japan's Vahid Halilhodzic, China's Alain Perrin, Singapore's Bernd Stange and Malaysia's Dollah Salleh.

French Football League (LFP) president Frederic Thiriez has warned the French Football Federation (FFF) they "would be wrong to declare war on us" in the continuing row over next season's Ligue 1 relegation/promotion battle.

Alexandre Lacazette to stay at Lyon amid PSG, Arsenal, Liverpool interest

Alexandre Lacazette quashed rumours of a move away from Lyon, after scoring the winning goal in their club friendly against AC Milan.

Alexandre Lacazette has confirmed that he is staying at Lyon next season despite reported interest from Arsenal, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain.

Lacazette, 24, has alerted a number of top European clubs after finishing as Ligue 1's top scorer last season with 27 goals to help OL secure second place, although Lyon coach Hubert Fournier values the striker at "€50-60 million."
