Northern Ireland are the leaders of their group after a 1-1 draw against Finland.

Northern Ireland were denied a seventh win of their triumphant Euro 2016 campaign, but the point against Finland was still enough to see Northern Ireland break new ground by winning Group F.

In doing so they held off Romania and became the first fifth seeds in European qualifying history to finish top of the pile.

Craig Cathcart looked to have delivered even better when he headed home a maiden international goal in the first half but, after a lethargic display, Finland nicked a 1-1 draw three minutes...

FC Ilves manager sacked after ditching game to appear on TV

Keith Armstrong did TV work in Finland for Arsenal's stunning win vs. Man United and was promptly sacked after for failing to coach his team FC Ilves against SJK.

With a Merseyside derby and an Arsenal vs. Manchester United clash on the card, it would appear that last Sunday's Premier League doubleheader proved just too tantalising for one Finnish top flight manager.

Indeed, FC Ilves coach Keith Armstrong has since been relieved of his duties after he spent the afternoon providing punditry in a television studio instead of overseeing his team's important league game against SJK.
