African nations finalise World Cup warm-up matches

All of Africa's World Cup bound teams have finalised warm-up friendlies for next month, as they seek to get in potentially vital preparation ahead of their trip to Russia in mid-year.

Senegal were the last of the five countries to fix games for the international window between March 19-28, but all now have a decent diet to give themselves a solid test in the last window of opportunity while the players are still at their respective clubs.

FIFA's approval of Chechnya as Egypt's training base throughout the World Cup this summer has been scrutinised because of charges of human rights violations by the Russian region's strongman leader.

Grozny, the Chechen capital, was selected by Egypt from a list of 67 options presented to the World Cup finalists, and FIFA has said that it will monitor the suitability of allowing a team to be based in the region.

Misr El-Maqassa are set to make their CAF Champions League debut this weekend, but while the Egyptian side's preparations have been less than ideal, they're optimistic that they can advance past Senegal's Generation Foot.
