Germany went top of Group A with a 3-0 victory over Denmark in their second group stage game at the Under-21 European Championship on Saturday.
Hoffenheim forward Kevin Volland scored twice, while Dortmund's Matthias Ginter added the third to complete the rout.
Volland, the German captain, first struck in the 32nd minute, his low, right-footed shot from 12 yards beating Denmark goalkeeper Jakob Busk Jensen.
