Bosnia and Herzegovina full-back Sead Kolasinac has defended international teammate Emir Spahic after his Bayer Leverkusen contract was terminated following an attack on a club steward.

Bosnia-Herzegovina sack manager Safet Susic after loss to Israel

Safet Susic's 5-year tenure as manager of Bosnia and Herzegovina ended on Monday.

Bosnia-Herzegovina sacked coach Safet Susic on Monday with the team struggling in the 2016 European Championship qualifying campaign.

The country's football association, NFSBIH, announced the decision on state television.

"The NFSBIH executive board was unanimous in the decision to relieve Susic of his duties," governing body member Milorad Sofranic said.
