With the Czechs yet to score a goal during the qualifying campaign and Azerbaijan yet to concede, perhaps the scoreline was inevitable.

Maksim Medvedev's early strike proved enough for Azerbaijan to secure a shock win over Norway in their World Cup qualifying Group C clash in Baku.

Medvedev threaded a low shot past visiting keeper Rune Jarstein to put the hosts in front and they hung on to maintain their 100 percent start, having also won their opener in San Marino last month.
