SYDNEY -- Australia coach Ange Postecoglou has boosted his attacking strength with the recall of Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic, Bayer Leverkusen forward Robbie Kruse and Queens Park Rangers' Massimo Luongo for next month's World Cup qualifiers against Bangladesh and Tajikistan.

Rogic is recalled to the 23-man Australia squad after an absence of 15 months, while Asian Cup stars Luongo and Kruse rejoin the side after missing May's qualifier against Kyrgyzstan with injuries.

Crisis looms for A-League following impasse between PFA and FFA

A-League champions Melbourne Victory's title defence could be affected due to the impasse between the FFA and PFA.

Australia's Professional Footballers Association announced on Wednesday that Football Federation Australia had withdrawn its recognition of the official players' union, in a move that has seen the relationship between the union and the governing body further deteriorate.
