Albania get heroes' welcome upon return after Euro 2016 exit

Albania received a warm welcome for their arrival in Tirana on Thursday.

Albania's Euro 2016 squad was welcomed home on Thursday with a formal red-carpet ceremony and National Guard troops on their return from the country's first-ever participation at a European Championship.

The group stages of Euro 2016 are complete and for eight teams, the dream is over. Ukraine were the first to go while Republic of Ireland's dramatic winner against Italy meant heartbreak for Turkey.
