Ong Kim Swee happy with Malaysia's defence ahead of AFF Suzuki Cup

ESPN FC's Jason Dasey and PJ Roberts discuss the short amount of time JDT players are released to the national team before they're required to return.

"I will try to give all my players a chance, and (Tuesday) could be a final period to prove what they're made of,"...

Hazwan Bakri fit, but Khairul Helmi forced out of Malaysia squad

Malaysia striker Hazwan Bakri has been cleared to play in Tuesday's home friendly against Afghanistan, but Kedah defender Khairul Helmi Johari is likely to miss the match, due to a knee strain.

Assistant national coach Brad Maloney confirmed that full-back Khairul was the only injury concern ahead of the game at Shah Alam Stadium against the 149th-ranked Afghans.

Hazwan had to be substituted in the 71st minute after taking a knock in last Friday's 0-0 draw with Singapore, but Maloney said that the...
