Luke Williams agrees to take charge of Swindon for rest of season

Luke Williams will remain in charge of Swindon until the end of the season, the League One club have announced.

Williams, the former Brighton reserves and under-21 coach, was drafted in to replace Martin Ling after the 49-year-old resigned on Dec. 29 due to health reasons.

And following victories against Southend and Crewe, the Robins have decided to stick with Williams. The club, who are 14th in League One, have said they will review the management situation at the end of the campaign.

"After long conversations with Luke, I'm delighted to say that he has agreed to take the job until the end of the season," chairman Lee Power said.

"We will then sit down and discuss the possibility of him taking the job on a longer-term basis."
