Norrkoping seal first Swedish championship win since 1989

Norrkoping coach Jan Andersson hailed an "unreal" achievement after his side beat defending champions Malmo 2-0 to win their first Swedish championship since 1989 on Saturday.

The last-day drama saw goals from Emir Kujovic and Arnor Ingvi Traustason secure the title, leaving Norrkoping three points clear of nearest challengers IFK Goteborg.

"It's unreal. What a bunch of guys!" Anderson, quoted on the UEFA website, said.

His side's success was spearheaded by Kujovic, the league's top scorer with 21 goals, and the forward said: "The way we've surprised everyone is amazing."

The title win means Norrkoping are set to play in the second qualifying round stage of the Champions League next season.
