Sweden call up Emir Kujovic for Euro 2016 playoff vs. Denmark

Emir Kujovic has been called up to the Sweden squad for their Euro 2016 playoff against Denmark after helping IFK Norrkoping to the Swedish Allsvenskanliga title.

Kujovic, 27, who is uncapped at international level, was top scorer with 21 goals as Norrkoping won the league for the first time since 1989.

The striker, who is also eligible to play for Montenegro, replaces Bordeaux attacker Isaac Kiese in Erik Hamren's squad.

"I spoke to him this morning and he's very much looking forward to it," Hamren told a news conference on Friday.

"It's huge, a dream I have had," Norrkoping's Twitter account quoted Kujovic as saying following the announcement.

Kujovic was among 24 players named by Hamren for the two-legged playoff against Denmark, with the first leg in Stockholm on Nov. 14 and the return in Copenhagen three days later.
