Swansea boss Carlos Carvalhal says he is "completely relaxed'' about whatever the future holds for him. The Swans' Portuguese manager is reluctant to talk about life beyond Premier League survival, which he says is his sole focus. It has been reported that Carvalhal, who agreed a short-term deal when he took over from Paul Clement earlier this season, has had informal talks about extending his Liberty Stadium stay. Swansea are currently three points above the relegation zone, having climbed to 15th place under Carvalhal's direction. "I will answer all the time the same. I don't want anyone losing focus,'' Carvalhal said, ahead of Saturday's trip to Premier League bottom club West Brom. "What is informal talks? I talk with the chairman every week, we have a good relationship, we talk often about the past, present and future. These are normal things about the team, how we are progressing. It is normal conversations. "But we cannot talk about the future when trying to save the team. There are a lot of things on the table if you stay up or do not. It is our focus to stay up. After we achieve that we will talk, no problem. "I am happy here, I have said all the time. There is no problem. I like the players, the chairman, the owners of the club, the fans. I like the fans, I think they like me also, so it is not a problem. "My staff and the players are focused on the most important thing, which is to stay in the Premier League. Of course, I want that to be the case that we stay in the Premier League, and then I will answer all the questions. "I have an important game against West Brom, and we are talking about my personal situation. I want to talk about achieving points. "I am completely relaxed. I never signed more than a one-year contract. "When I was with Sheffield Wednesday, after one season, the chairman proposed me a three-year contract. I said no. I stayed there, because I liked it.'' Carvalhal said that midfielder Sam Clucas will be fit to face West Brom after recovering from a knee injury that forced him off during last Saturday's 2-0 defeat against Manchester United. And the Hawthorns trip will see the Swans face a team now under Darren Moore's guidance after Alan Pardew was relieved of managerial duties earlier this week. "I was very concerned about it [Clucas' injury] because it was an external ligament and it was painful,'' Carvalhal added.
