Swansea City manager Bob Bradley has called for a united front after more off-field confusion at the Liberty Stadium.
Just a few days after slipping to the bottom of the Premier League, the uneasy relationship between the side's new American owners and the supporters' trust -- who own 21 percent of the club -- resurfaced over the return of former director Leigh Dineen to the board.
The trust later confirmed that the reappointment had been overturned due to it being made "without approval," although Dineen's potential return will now be discussed at the next board meeting.
All of which has led to more uncertainty ahead of Swansea's crunch home game against fellow strugglers Crystal Palace on Saturday, with Bradley calling for unity as he seeks his first win at the sixth attempt.
"Things will go on but my number one message to supporters is there are things out of their control and out of our control,'' Bradley said. "But what we must do right now is to make sure that between the supporters and the players and the staff is that we are in this together.
"We need that at the Liberty on Saturday and there will be plenty of time for other things to work themselves out. I would prefer everyone to be on the same page, but within a team you cannot let distractions take away from the responsibility we have when wearing those colours.
"Supporters at different times will speak up and voice their opinions. That is fair, they are the heart and soul of the club, but they know that on the field the only thing that matters is the result and how we play. I want the supporters to put any issues aside and let the players know that they will be right with us for the road ahead.''
Former United States boss Bradley said he has enjoyed his time at Swansea so far, despite their perilous position at the foot of the table as his wait for a win nearly two months after succeeding Francesco Guidolin goes on.
"I say it over and over, I have enjoyed being part of this club in a short time,'' Bradley said. "I love these players, how honest they are and how much they care for the club. We are just focused on making sure we put a bad stretch behind us -- and it is going to happen this week.
"This is an opportunity to build on last week, we've taken on all the positives from the Everton match and training has gone in the right direction. The response I've seen in the last few weeks has encouraged me, and we've told the players that this is a really good starting point for Crystal Palace.''
