Swansea manager Francesco Guidolin wants to savour the magic of cup football again after being a winner in his native Italy.
Guidolin has his first taste of an English cup competition when Swansea head to Peterborough in the second round of the EFL Cup on Tuesday night.
But the experienced Guidolin says he has an affinity with cup football having guided Vicenza to Coppa Italia glory in 1997 -- the provincial club's first-ever domestic trophy.
"We won the Coppa Italia and for a little team this is fantastic,'' said Guidolin. "It is not exactly the same as Leicester [winning the Premier League], but after us no little team has won the Coppa Italia.
"It has always been a strong team like Milan, Napoli, Juventus, Inter and Roma.
"This was one of my best moments, but fortunately I've had a lot of good moments in my career in Italy.''
Guidolin will rotate his squad against League One opponents, with Wales' Euro 2016 hero Neil Taylor getting his first action this season following an extended post-France break.
But he feels Swansea are capable of competing on both league and cup fronts this season.
"I think my squad is strong enough if we don't have injuries,'' said Guidolin. "We can be focused on the Premier League and the cup.''
Guidolin has yet to take charge of a cup tie in England as he was appointed in January following Swansea's shock FA Cup exit at Oxford.
Swansea won the League Cup in 2013 and the Italian wants the club to have another run in the competition.
"The cups in the UK are important and I want to respect this attitude,'' said Guidolin.
"We will go to Peterborough with a good team, try to win and continue in the competition.
"We hope to go a long way and have a fantastic FA Cup, to try and stay in all competitions.''
