Michel Vorm transfer from Swansea to Tottenham to be heard at CAS

Swansea's sale of Michel Vorm to Tottenham will be the subject of a hearing at the Court of Arbitration for Sport on Friday.

Utrecht are taking action because they say they are owed a sell-on fee for a goalkeeper they sold to Swansea for £1.5 million in 2011.

Utrecht insist they are owed 30 percent of whatever Swansea received for Vorm in July 2014, citing a sell-on clause in the deal when the player arrived in Wales from the Netherlands three years earlier.

Vorm, now 32, left Swansea on the same day as defender Ben Davies, with forward Gylfi Sigurdsson going the other way.

Utrecht have questioned why Vorm, a Netherlands international with two years on his contract at the time, was given a zero value in the transactions.

The Eredivisie club have previously had their case dismissed by world football's governing body FIFA.
