Marchisio seals Juve Coppa progress

Juventus progressed to the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia after midfielder Claudio Marchisio scored an extra-time winner to help them past Bologna.

The Bianconeri looked to have won the match in normal time when Emanuele Giaccherini netted in the last minute but Andrea Raggi grabbed a dramatic equaliser four minutes into injury time.

That sent the game into extra-time and, in the 103rd minute, Marchiso was the man who popped up to send Antonio Conte's side through the last eight.

Both sides rang the changes at the Juventus Arena following weekend Serie A wins, with only three players retained in the hosts' starting line-up and Bologna making nine changes after their win over Siena.

Juve, who are searching for their tenth Coppa Italia title and a first since 1995, are the first side into the quarter-finals; the remaining fixtures take place over the next month and include Roma v Fiorentina, Napoli v Cesena, AC Milan v Novara and reigning champions Inter Milan v Genoa.
