Lille striker Tulio de Melo has been ruled out for four to six weeks after suffering a torn hamstring, the club have confirmed.
De Melo, 26, was substituted in the first half of Lille's 2-0 win over Brest on Saturday after he picked up the injury.
A statement on the club's official website said: "Tulio De Melo suffered a torn hamstring and was replaced in the 26th minute of Lille-Brest. The Mastiffs striker will be sidelined for a period of between four and six weeks.''
The news comes just two weeks after Lille indicated the player would not be offered a new contract and made available for transfer due to his poor injury record. He is out of contract at the end of the season.
