Giuseppe Rossi's agent Federico Pastorello has claimed that his client would be interested in moving to Napoli in the future.
Rossi is currently out for six months and is recuperating from a serious knee surgery after snapping his anterior cruciate ligament while playing for Villarreal against Real Madrid last month.
With his long-term future unsure, Napoli club president Aurelio De Laurentiis claimed that he was interested in the Italian international and Pastorello has now hinted that a move to Naples might be possible in the future.
"Rossi to Napoli? It's normal that Napoli would be considered as they are great club and many players, Rossi aside, would like to join them because they are doing well in the Champions League," Pastorello told Radio Kiss Kiss.
"Also, Napoli have the advantage of now being able to attract top players in the transfer window compared to the past."
Napoli play Villarreal in their penultimate Champions league group, but the Spanish side are out of contention to qualify, or even claim a place in the Europa League, after losing their five games.
