Eriksen: I want to play in La Liga
Ajax midfielder Christian Eriksen has revealed his desire to one day play in Spain's La Liga.
Eriksen, 19, is widely thought of as one of the rising stars of the European game after impressing for both Ajax and the Denmark national side and he is expected to seek a new challenge at the end of the current campaign.
Barcelona, Manchester City and AC Milan are all reportedly interested in the talented midfielder, who is among the latest to develop at a club known for nurturing Wesley Sneijder and Rafael van der Vaart, as well as Edgar Davids and the De Boer brothers.
And Eriksen is keen to follow in the footsteps of those former Ajax stars in trying his hand at playing in Spain's top flight in the future.
"Spain attracts me," Eriksen told Ekstra Bladet. "I like the style of the game played there. I would find my best there."
With three years remaining on his contract at Ajax, any interested clubs are likely to have to pay a substantial fee for Eriksen.
