Motta staying at Inter - agent

Thiago Motta's agent has stressed the midfielder remains committed to his current club Inter Milan.

• Hazard claims interest from Milan duo

Speculation has suggested Motta, 29, could seal a move away from Serie A giants Inter in the near future, the Italy international having made just one league start this season.

However, Motta's representative, Alessandro Canovi, has dismissed the conjecture, insisting the player is keen to stay at the San Siro, where his contract runs until 2013.

"Thiago's intentions are very clear. He wants to stay with the Nerazzurri," Canovi was quoted as saying by Tuttomercatoweb.

"A contract renewal? There are no new developments. We are not in a rush to sign a new deal, though, as there's still plenty of time. We are waiting for Inter's call."

Meanwhile, in-demand Lille playmaker Eden Hazard has expressed his interest in joining Inter, after recently stating his intent to leave Ligue 1 at the end of the season.

"It would be great to join Inter," Hazard was quoted as saying on Calcio Mercato. "They have legendary players. The praise from [Javier] Zanetti and [Wesley] Sneijder left me speechless."

Hazard has already claimed Milan giants Inter and AC are both keen on his services, with competition for the Belgium international's signature expected to be fierce come next summer.
