Hibernian have sacked manager Colin Calderwood.
Calderwood has only been in the Easter Road hot-seat for 12 months but a poor run of results, culminating in Saturday's 1-0 home defeat against Dunfermline, appears to have triggered the decision.
After the Dunfermline game, a group of supporters protested outside the main entrance demanding the departure of Calderwood and chairman Rod Petrie.
Petrie told the club's official website on Sunday: "I would like to thank Colin for his time as manager of the club.
"The board decided that it was in the club's best interests to find a new manager to take Hibernian forward."
