Ozil: I don't need Arsenal goals for my ego

Drogba open to being Chelsea manager

Rummenigge won't get carried away

Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge insists it is way too early to say whether the current side is one of the best in the club's history.

• Hitzfeld: Fergie wants to avoid Bayern
• Bayern blog: Fortress Allianz Arena

Despite scoring 33 goals without conceding while winning their last nine home matches, Rummenigge believes Bayern have not achieved anything yet.

"There is no doubt this is a good FC Bayern, but we have not won any title yet," he told "It is only the end of October anyway. Maybe I should also remind you that we lost a game a week ago so that still happens occasionally.

"The important thing is that the wins against Ingolstadt and Nurnberg were a good response and now we want to carry on that way against Napoli."

Bayern host Napoli in the Champions League on Wednesday night and Rummenigge feels his side would have one foot in the knockout stages if they manage to extend their impressive record at the Allianz Arena.

"If we manage to win on Wednesday then that would almost be it," he added. "We will do all we can for that. This game is very important for us."
