Ezequiel Lavezzi of Napoli has earned a recall, as has Roma's Fernando Gago, both returning after missing the most recent qualifiers against Chile and Venezuela. PSG star Javier Pastore retains his position after lighting up Ligue 1, while fellow stars Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero are also included.
Notable absentees include a troubled Carlos Tevez, and Newcastle pair Jonas Gutierrez and Fabricio Coloccini.
Argentina play Bolivia on November 11 followed by a clash against Colombia four days later.
