Giovinco future to be decided

Parma striker Sebastian Giovinco's long-term future will not be decided until next summer, according to club president Tommaso Ghirardi.

Italy international Giovinco has been linked with a return to Juventus after an impressive start to the campaign with Parma, leading the Serie A scoring charts with five goals.

Juve general director Giuseppe Marotta recently hinted at the possibility that the 24-year-old, who played on loan at Parma last season from Juve, could join the Turin giants next year.

"Giovinco is co-owned between Juventus and ourselves right now," Ghirardi told Corriere dello Sport. "We will only discuss what to do with him in June.

"I'm happy with what Marotta said, but there is a long way to go before you can say that Giovinco will be heading back to Turin."

Parma bought half of Giovinco's sporting rights from Juve in the summer.
