Krasic rescues point for Juve

Milos Krasic grabbed a second-half equaliser as Serie A leaders Juventus had to settle for a point from a 1-1 draw with Catania.

And it could have been much worse for Juve had Andrea Catellani not squandered an injury-time chance to win the match for the Sicilian outfit.

Gonzalo Bergessio fired Catania ahead in the 21st minute after Alejandro Gomez supplied an inviting cross from the right.

Pablo Osvaldo's second-half goal lifted Roma to victory at Parma tonight to hand Luis Enrique a 1-0 win, his first as a coach in Serie A. The Argentinian striker scored in the 50th minute to make a winner to of the Spanish coach at the fourth attempt after two draws and a defeat.

Udinese extended their unbeaten start to the season to four games but they were fortunate to get away with a point in a 0-0 draw at Cagliari.

Udinese striker Antonio Di Natale failed to find the back of the net for the first time this season but he was not given many chances to score either as the home side did most of the attacking.

Thiago Ribeiro was their biggest threat, but the ball did not seem attracted to the Udinese goal as both sides shared a point.

Not even free-kick specialist Daniele Conti, marking his club record-equalling 328th appearance for Cagliari, could break the deadlock with a set-piece in the last 10 minutes which Handanovic saved.

Palermo held Lazio to a goalless draw.

The hosts dominated possession but could not find the finishing touch against the Sicilian club, who defended well.

The result will not please Lazio coach Edy Reja, whose side have yet to win at home this season.

Siena stormed to their first victory of the season with a 3-0 win against 10-man Lecce.

Fresh off their battling performance that resulted in a 1-1 draw at Roma last Thursday, Siena got an early goal from Mattia Destro with Emanuele Calaio then adding the team's second in the 53rd minute.

Lecce's hopes of a comeback suffered a blow when defender Andrea Esposito was handed his marching orders shortly after the hour mark and Calaio scored his second with 20 minutes remaining.

Novara left Bergamo furious at not taking a point from their clash with Atalanta, losing 2-1.

The battle of the Serie A newcomers was going comfortably in the home side's favour when Matias Schelotto and Luca Cigarini put them two goals clear.

Novara managed to half the deficit with a minute of normal time remaining through Filippo Porcari, but appeared to have run out of time.

They had one more chance, though, which Pablo Granoche took, only for the goal to be disallowed for offside despite replays proving otherwise.

A last-gasp goal from Davide Moscardelli ended Genoa's unbeaten start to the season and took Chievo above them in the Serie A table with a 2-1 win.

The Chievo sub scored with practically the last kick of the game to take the Flying Donkeys above their opponents amongst the early frontrunners after Rodrigo Palacio had put the visitors in front early in the second half and Sergio Pellissier had levelled 15 minutes from time.

Genoa played the last half an hour with 10 men after Dario Dainelli was sent off for giving away a penalty, which Sebastien Frey saved from Pellissier.
