Solskjaer linked with Blackburn job
Manchester United legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is being lined up to replace under-fire Blackburn manager Steve Kean, according to reports.
Blackburn are bottom of the Premier League, with just a single point from four games, and unhappy Rovers fans have planned a 1,000-strong protest against Kean ahead of their game against Arsenal on Saturday.
Rovers' owners Venky's have given their backing to Kean but the Daily Mirror claim that Solksjaer, who is currently challenging for the Norwegian league title as manager of Molde, could soon be on his way to Ewood Park.
Solksjaer spent three years in charge of Manchester United's reserve side before moving to Molde and his agent has not ruled out the possibility of the Norwegian returning to English football.
"Blackburn Rovers have a manager," Jim Solbakken said. "And Ole is doing very well in Norway."
