Real Madrid defender Ricardo Calvalho has urged referees to give team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo more protection.
Ronaldo branded official Svein Moen "shameful" in the wake of Madrid's 1-0 win against Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday - a game that left him needing stitches to a leg injury.
It's "because I'm rich, handsome and a great player," he said after a game, suggesting referees are happy to stand by and watch him fall foul of rough treatment.
Fellow Portuguese Carvalho didn't go that far, but did back Ronaldo's call for greater protection from referees.
"Marcelo was sent off, Cristiano took many hits and we feel we got very little justice from the referee, who left a few things," Carvalho said.
"The challenge on his ankle was wrong, and it's natural for him to get angry. A great player like him should get more protection."
