Tevez happy now family have arrived

Carlos Tevez believes his love-hate relationship with Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is over after bringing his family to Manchester.

• Agent: Tevez 'may settle' at City

Despite failing to secure a move away from Eastlands this summer after handing in a transfer request, Tevez insists he is is happy in Manchester, and claims he will no longer demand to leave the club after his wife and daughters joined him in England.

"Mancini and I had confrontations in every language," Tevez is quoted in the Sun. "We have a love-hate language. We have a love-hate relationship.

"He's a phenomenon. He wants to be a winner and so do I. I feel like everything is different to last year. Now I'm with my wife and daughters in England."

Tevez has made just one appearance from the bench this season, but expects to be back in the starting line-up and does not fear losing his place in the team.

"I wanted to get in better physical shape," he said. "Now I'm good and I think I'll be playing again soon. I don't think I'll have lost my place because I'm captain and the symbol of a big club like City."
