Manchester City winger Shaun Wright-Phillips is closing in on a switch to Queens Park Rangers, according to reports.
Wright-Phillips, who re-joined City from Chelsea in 2008 for £9 million, has yet to feature for Roberto Mancini's side this season, having made just two league starts for the club last campaign.
Premier League new boys QPR are now said to have stepped up their interest in the England international, with a view to securing a permanent deal for his services before the close of the transfer window at 2300 BST on Wednesday.
QPR boss Neil Warnock further bolstered his side on Tuesday with the capture of left-back Armand Traore for Arsenal, landing the Frenchman for around £1.2 million.
