Lille beat Marseille, PSG leave it late
Lille came out on top in a five-goal thriller as they beat Marseille 3-2 at the Stade Lille-Metropole.
Moussa Sow scored the only goal of the first period before Marseille surged ahead when Mathieu Valbuena struck twice in seven minutes. OM's lead lasted just three minutes though as Aurelien Chedjou equalised before Sow scored his second from the penalty spot on 75 minutes to seal victory.
Lille's win moves them up to seventh but Marseille's early woes continued as they were left searching for their first win after four games.
Two last-gasp goals snatched a 3-1 victory for Paris St Germain to end Toulouse's unbeaten start to the Ligue 1 season.
The visitors, who have invested heavily in their squad over the summer, had only managed one win in the league heading into this fixture, and they found themselves trailing at Stade Municipal to a first-half strike from Etienne Capoue.
However, Kevin Gameiro equalised before late goals from Mevlut Erding and Jeremy Menez silenced the home crowd.
Ryad Boudebouz's double ended St Etienne's unbeaten record as Sochaux bounced back from their midweek Europa League exit with a 2-1 victory in Ligue 1.
Sochaux were stunned 4-0 at home by Metalist Kharkiv on Thursday - but it was a different story at Stade Auguste Bonal today as Mehmed Bazdarevic's men picked up a second successive league win.
Boudebouz opened the scoring early on and, although Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang levelled the scores ten minutes before the break, the midfielder was on target again from the penalty spot to restore the home side's advantage.
Rennes put last weekend's four-goal mauling by Montpellier behind them as they beat Caen 3-2 to record a second win of the season, although they nearly let it slip.
Razak Boukari, Jires Kembo-Ekoko and Kader Mangane all scored before the break, with Caen missing a penalty through M'Baye Niang.
The game looked to be over, but Thomas Heurtaux and Frederic Bulot netted within three minutes of each other in the second half to slash the deficit, only for Caen to fail to find an equaliser.
