Buffon tied to Juve for life - agent

Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon will remain at the club for the rest of his career, according to his agent.

• Grygera set to complete Fulham move

Buffon, 33, signed for Juve from Parma a decade ago and has continued to be regarded as one of the world's best goalkeepers since then.

The Italy international, who won the World Cup with the Azzurri in 2006, has publicly affirmed his commitment to the Bianconeri on a number of occasions and was one of the players who stayed with the club when they were stripped of their Scudetto titile in 2006 and demoted to Serie B as part of the Calciopoli scandal.

Despite consistently pledging his future to Juve, Buffon has been linked with moves to the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Roma in recent years.

But his agent Silvano Martina said if Buffon - whose current deal expires in 2013 - had wanted to leave, he would have done so already.

"Gigi will be tied to Juventus for life," Martina told Radiosportiva. "If his desire was to leave, then he would've gone already. He has received many offers over the years, but the Bianconeri fans were always behind him."

Meanwhile, Juventus have been tipped to land Sao Paulo centre-back Rhodolfo, though a move for the Brazilian will be dependent on Leonardo Bonucci sealing his move from Turin to Zenit St Petersburg.
