Guiza set for Getafe return

Fenerbahce have confirmed that Spanish striker Dani Guiza is returning to former club Getafe.

Guiza, 31, has spent the last three years with Fenerbahce after finishing as the Primera Division's leading scorer in the 2007/08 season with Real Mallorca, when he netted 27 goals.

Fenerbahce made the announcement that he will return to his homeland on the club's official website and thanked Guiza for "his contributions'' in Instansbul.

Sports channel NTVspor claim Fenerbahce have not requested a transfer fee but the player will forfeit money owed to him by the Turkish club.

Guiza, who was part of Spain's Euro 2008-winning squad, played for Getafe between 2005-07, while he has also represented Xerez and Ciudad Murcia.
