Galatasaray in Eboue talks

Galatasaray have confirmed they are in negotiations with Arsenal over the signing of Emmanuel Eboue.

•  Cesc signs for Barcelona

Eboue, 28, signed for Arsenal from Belgian side Beveren in 2005 and has been a regular part of Arsene Wenger's first-team.

However, with Wenger now reshaping the squad for the 2011-12 season, he is expected to allow the Ivory Coast international to leave for Turkey.

A Galatasaray club statement read: "Galatasaray has begun negotiations with Arsenal FC for the transfer of Ivorian-Belgian professional football player Emmanuel Eboue. The public will be updated about the developments."
