Brazil coach Mano Menezes says that he will give his young players a chance to shine in the friendly against Germany on Wednesday night.
Brazil have a host of friendlies until the 2014 World Cup, only interrupted by the 2013 Confederations Cup, and Menezes will be using them to decide on players that he has not made up his mind over yet.
Such players include Bayern Munich newcomer Luiz Gustavo, as Menezes was quoted in Kicker sports magazine saying: ''I want to see how players react who haven't been with the team before. Germany are among the best teams in the world. It will be a wonderful test.''
Brazil have won 12 of the 20 games with Germany, including the 2002 World Cup final, while Brazil won the last match 3-2 in the 2005 Confederations Cup semi-finals in Germany.
''It is a good and interesting test,' said Germany coach Joachim Loew. ''Teams like Brazil can expose your weaknesses. You must live up to international standard if you want to win.''
