Swiss side Neuchatel Xamax have seen their entire coaching staff sacked after losing 2-0 to FC Basel on Sunday.
Neuchatel, who were recently taken over by Chechen businessman Bulat Chagaev, lie at the bottom of the Swiss league after two games and two defeats, but took the steps to remove coach Francois Ciccolini, team manager Sonny Anderson and the rest of the staff who were only appointed in June.
"They can't ask us to perform magic," Ciccolini told the online edition of 20 Minutes newspaper. While Anderson added: "He (Chagaev) is the chief shareholder, he makes the decisions."
Chagaev took over the club in May and immediately sacked administrative staff, sponsors and two coaches. Didier Olle-Nicole went first on May 12, the day the club was sold to Chagaev, and his replacement Bernard Challendes lost his job when his side lost to Sion in the Swiss Cup final.
The upheavals have also seen Brazilian goalkeeper Rodrigo Galatto sacked after only one game after a poor performance in the 3-0 home defeat by FC Lucerne in their opening match of the season.
