Roma have continued their summer recruitment with the signing of experienced Argentina defender Gabriel Heinze.
The Italian club have agreed a one-year deal with the 33-year-old former Real Madrid and Manchester United player, who left Marseille at the end of last season after two years in Ligue 1.
Heinze said at his presentation today: "In previous years I have been fortunate to play at big clubs and now I again have an opportunity to play in another great squad like Roma, so I didn't waste much time in deciding to come. It's a great honour to wear this shirt.''
Heinze joins the likes of Bojan Krkic, Jose Angel and coach Luis Enrique as new arrivals at Roma this summer.
