Lukaku keeping options open

Anderlecht striker Romelu Lukaku has hinted that he is keeping his options open despite rumoured interest from Chelsea.

• Chelsea closing in on Lukaku
• Lukaku's player profile

Reports on Wednesday claimed Chelsea have lodged a bid in the region of £18 million for Lukaku, who has been tipped for a bright future.

Chelsea were thought to be favourites to land his signature, but it is speculated the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham could enter the race to sign the Belgium international.

Lukaku said last season: "I'm not obliged to sign for the Blues. There are other big clubs in Europe. I want to aim as high as possible."

The 18-year-old, whose current contract runs out in 2013, scored 16 goals in 37 matches for Anderlecht last season.
