Bayer Leverkusen have confirmed midfielder Arturo Vidal is close to joining Juventus.
Vidal's future has been the subject of conjecture amid growing interest in his services following an impressive 2010-11 Bundesliga season.
Arsenal and Bayern Munich have reportedly been monitoring his situation, but Juve are now in pole position to land the Chile international's signature.
Bayer sporting director Rudi Voller told Tuttosport: "An agreement between Bayer and Juve has not yet been reached, but it is very near."
A fee in the region of a €12 million (£10.6 million) has reportedly been agreed for the 24-year-old, who joined Bayer from Colo-Colo in 2007.
