Rangers defender Steven Whittaker feels Kenny Miller would be a success if he returns to the club this summer.
Miller, 31, left Ibrox in January to join Turkish side Bursaspor, but he has failed to settle in the country and Gers boss Ally McCoist has refused to rule out a bid.
Whittaker, who was also a target for Bursaspor, has now said he thinks Miller would be a fine signing as Rangers look to win a fourth successive league title.
"We need players and it's up to the manager who he goes for but Kenny was fantastic for us when he was here and if he came back I'm sure he'd do well again," he said in the Daily Record. "I enjoyed playing with him for Rangers and Scotland and it would be great to do so again."
