Udinese give transfer trio update

Udinese have given an update on the transfer status of Alexis Sanchez, Cristian Zapata and Gokhan Inler.

• Alexis Sanches profile
• Napoli enter Sanchez race
• Barca make final Sanchez offer

Sanchez is reportedly wanted by a host of clubs, with Manchester City, Malaga and Napoli all mooted as potential suitors.

But Barcelona remain in pole position to land his signature after Udinese have conceded they are the only club to have held advanced negotiations.

"The Sanchez situation is a delicate one," said Gino Pozzo, the son of patron Giampaolo Pozzo.

"The deal involves other players, but he'll cost around €50 million (£45 million) and that is why Napoli and Inter are not very close to his signature. We'll now just wait for Barcelona to make their next move."

Defender Zapata, who has been linked with Liverpool, is also set to leave the Stadio Friuli, while Inler is still negotiating personal terms with Napoli.

"Zapata to Villarreal is almost done," Pozzo continued. "As for Inler, there is only Napoli. A final decision will be made by Monday."
